Palmetto Architecture Firm, Moore 2 Design, certified as Women’s Business Enterprise
PALMETTO — Moore 2 Design, LLC, a Palmetto-based architecture and interior design firm, received certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Women’s Business Development Center – Florida, in partnership with the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) on June 8, 2009.
A firm must be owned and operated by a woman by at least 51%, to become WBENC certified. The certification process has rigorous criteria; including an extensive review, on-site inspection and a detailed submittal process.
According to Vicki Moore, president of Moore 2 Design, “We are one of the only woman-owned and WBE-certified architecture firms in Florida. We look forward to the opportunities and partnerships we will form as we move forward.” Vicki Moore oversees the company’s interior design department and day-to-day operations, while her husband and partner, Jon L. Moore, AIA focuses on architectural design.
