E & E Wellness Solutions, LLC
Eliminate Costly Work-Related Injuries That are Draining the Profitability out of Your Business
Learn how to limit common workforce injuries by identifying and implementing sound prevention strategies.
"How do we reduce our workers compensation costs?"
While increasing awareness may help, employees need to know the early signs and symptoms of an injury and take steps that will prevent costly workers’ compensation claims. If they continue to believe, "maybe it will go away", it almost always leads to a more costly injury…leaving your bottom line and business at risk.
Dr. Ken Kaufman, adjunct faculty for State College of Florida and president of E & E Wellness Solutions, helps business leaders eliminate injury and sickness costs that are reducing their profitability. He teaches you how to identify and reverse the poor worker health and injury rates that weigh down your business. Discover the important risk factors for chronic injuries like carpal tunnel syndrome, back injuries and tendinitis and strategies to prevent them.
In this webinar, you’ll learn how to:
Identify the causes of injuries of your workforce that are killing your business
Recognize the early signs and symptoms of the most common work-related injuries
Implement a sound 4 point prevention strategy to reduce the risk factors for injury
Evaluate your work and home environment to reduce or eliminate injury stressors
Create a prevention-conscious culture among your employees to improve profitability
As an added bonus, the first 50 registrants will receive Dr. Kaufman’s white paper, "Health Care Reform and Wellness for Small Business", to help you identify other areas of cost containment through wellness and prevention.
Can't make it to the webinar? As a paid registrant, you and your employees will have unlimited access to a recording of the program including the audio, video and Power Point slides for 90 days or more.
Suggested attendees: Business leaders, human resource professionals and employees interested in decreasing injury rates.

Social Media Club of Southwest Florida
Kids and computers often go hand in hand. Online skills are invaluable in modern education but this boon to the learning experience can be a wolf in sheep’s clothing. It's impossible to watch your child's every online move, so how can you keep them safe?
The next event of the Social Media Club of Southwest Florida, offered just ahead of the back to school hustle and bustle, will provide this essential information. Sergeant Stephanie Eller, of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, will offer an important presentation created by the Florida Attorney General. She will also discuss her personal experience as a detective dealing with Southwest Florida crimes involving online predators, sexting and cyberbullying.
Also presenting will be Chrissie Scelsi, a steering committee member and entertainment lawyer in Port Charlotte. Chrissie will broach virtual worlds and social games for children and the privacy issues they present. Parents will learn about the mechanisms that online services employ to protect users and the laws that govern online privacy. She will also discuss issues that have arisen as a result of the exchange of goods online, treated as gambling in some states.
